Immediate Decision Days for Fall 2010 Freshman Applicants
What is an Immediate Decision Day at William Paterson University and how does it benefit me?William Paterson University's Immediate Decision Days provide you with a quick, easy, and personal admissions process. Immediate Decision Days offer you the opportunity to interview with an admissions counselor to discuss your academic record, tour the campus, talk to students, and leave the University with an acceptance and, possibly, even a scholarship. Your day begins with an orientation and a tour of the campus and concludes with an admissions decision.
New this year, we will host both our traditional Immediate Decision Day schedule as well as a special NJEA Immediate Decision Day on Friday, November 6. Our NJEA even provides the same opportunities as our traditional events, but the tour is optional.
Immediate Decision Days are for freshman applicants.
The $50 application fee is waived for Immediate Decision Days.
To participate in an Immediate Decision Day, students must have achieved the following minimum profile:
CSAT = 1050 (Critical Reading and Math only) or equivalent ACT score
Average = B (85%)
Class Rank = 67 percentile 16 Academic Units (as stated in the University application)
Art and Music Majors: Due to the additional requirement of an audition or portfolio review for art and music majors, students must be evaluated by their respective departments. Therefore, admission to these majors is pending review.
