Clinical work with victims
of political torture, refugees and asylum seekers in the U.S. was
the topic of the Speakers Forum of the M.A. in Applied Clinical Psychology
Program , held on 11/3/04 at the University. Two speakers from the
Cross-Cultural Counseling Center, located in Jersey City, kept the
rapt attention of more than a hundred students, faculty and guests.
Video tapes and a vivid discussion of issues helped all to become
aware of social and clinical issues rarely addressed. A video tape
of this Speakers Forum is on file in the Program collection.
