Debra Wilson-Brown

Debra Wilson Brown (Department Secretary) has been a university employee for nearly two decades; working in several departments throughout the campus, most recently and longest (ten years), in the Office of Financial Aid.

Currently enrolled as an English major, Debra will earn her B.A. degree in May 2010. She has always had an interest in education, academics and having a positive influence on young people’s lives. Prior to working at William Paterson University, for example, Debra worked for 14 years in the Paterson school system as a Teacher Assistant and has been a Sunday School teacher for more than 20 years.

Born and raised in Paterson, for the past seven years she has resided in Hawthorne, with her husband, Rodney C. Brown. Her interests include knitting, crocheting, exploring antique shops, reading, and one day completing Underneath Savannah, an anthology of short stories.
