Transportation Services

The University Transportation Service is specifically designed to facilitate the flow of University traffic to and from University locations for academic, instructional and administrative activities throughout the Campus.

Transportation Services operates a fleet of passenger vehicles dedicated to providing a campus wide mass transit system. Monday through Friday, during the Fall and Spring semesters, the Shuttle Service operates four service routes. On Saturday and Sunday, during the Fall and Spring semesters, the Shuttle Service operates one service route. Monday through Thursday, during the Summer Sessions, the Shuttle Service operates one service route.

Every effort is made to provide prompt consistent service. However, shuttle service may be subject to change or temporary suspension for reasons of inclement weather, vehicle repair, construction, and vehicular safety in and about the campus parking areas or contiguous roadways. The shuttle service provides general access to central campus locations and direct service to perimeter campus locations. The shuttle service provides connecting service to New Jersey Transit bus service. HOURS OF OPERATION: The Shuttle Service is in operation when the University is open and classes are in session. Shuttle service is not provided, during semester breaks or when classes are not in session.

FALL & SPRING SEMESTERS:

1. CAMPUS LOOP: Operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. through 2:25 a.m.
2. DOWNTOWN PATERSON LOOP: Operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. through 11:30 p.m.
3. LOT 6 TO LOT 7: Operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m.
4. 1600 VALLEY ROAD LOOP: Operates Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. through 9:55 p.m.
5. SATURDAY UNIVERSITY WIDE LOOP: Operates Saturday, 8:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m.
6. SUNDAY CAMPUS LOOP: Operates Sunday, 12:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m.

SUMMER SESSIONS:

1. 1600 VALLEY ROAD LOOP: Operates Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. through 11:00 p.m.
