Jazz Room Series
Sunday afternoons are reserved for world-renowned jazz performers, along with student ensembles, who present some of the best jazz in New Jersey.

Vistas Series
The William Paterson University Vistas Series (formerly the Cultural Arts Series) was created in 1998 to supplement the existing academically based series with professional touring artists. The Series strives to bring to campus high caliber touring artists across a range of disciplines including acoustic and world music, contemporary folk music, theatre, dance, family programming and other eclectic fare. A sub-series of family and children's programming, "The Family Scene", brings quality theatre, music and special events to families. Special activities in the lobby precede most Family Scene performances.

New Music Series
For nearly thirty years the New Music Series has presented the highest quality professional and student groups performing classic literature, together with premieres of cutting edge music.

University Theatre
The New Jersey Playwrights Contest (NJPC) supports the work of emerging New Jersey playwrights by exposing their work to the public through staged-readings and a full production of the winning play.  The NJPC is in its fourth year and is coordinated by Ed Matthews and Shari Selke of the University Performing Arts Department.
Under the auspices of the Theatre faculty of the Communication Department, theatre productions are produced each fall and spring semester, along with WPU’s annual Comedy Festival in December.
