Ming Fay, art, recently presented a workshop to sculpture students in Shengyang, China from the Luxan Academy of Art. The students worked on a group project making branch boats which they then launched into the river. “I was much impressed by their commitment to a solidarity of construction,” Fay says. “The students must get into the cold water to launch them. The boats are a poetic gesture to the green journey the young people are wishing for."

Brett Kaffee, a May 2005 graduate of the Political Science Department’s Master’s Program in Public Policy and International Affairs, visited Nicaragua with the Witness for Peace Delegation while still a student. Kaffee is currently enrolled in the City University of New York’s Law School.
