Center for Closely Held Business to Hold Breakfast Roundtable on June 21

William Paterson’s Center for Closely Held Business will hold a breakfast roundtable, “Unlocking Decision Deadlocks:  A Key to Partnership Success,” on Wednesday, June 21, in the University’s building at 1600 Valley Road.  Continental breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m.; the program runs from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.  The fee is $30.

Basem Hishmeh, chairman of AERCO International and chair of the Center’s advisory board executive committee, will share his personal story.  Hishmeh will discuss how he and his partner were able to move beyond their decision deadlocks and attain even higher success.  This peer-to-peer case discussion workshop is appropriate for members of partnerships and family businesses.

The roundtable is the second event hosted by the center, which held a highly successful kick-off event on May 9 that featured a presentation by Neil Koenig, an internationally renowned family business and management consultant and author of You Can’t Fire Me, I’m Your Father:  What Every Family Business Needs to Know for Success.  In future presentations, the center will address issues such as business and succession planning, customer relationship management, employee recruitment, and risk management.  Programs will include peer-to-peer mentoring, educational forums and workshops, presentations by industry experts, and analysis of case studies.
