Videoconference
 |
| Jack Canfield, author of Chicken Soup
for the Soul |
Jack Canfield, successful author of the famous
series of books which started with Chicken Soup for the Soul,
delivered a lecture on campus on February 15 that was inspirational
yet also pragmatic as he encouraged those in the audience to pursue
their dreams. He based his talk on his most recent book, The
Success Principles, a book about how people can get what they
want out of life by identifying goals, and then working to accomplish
those goals. The lecture was a live videoconference produced by
the Society of Success and Leadership for college students, and
was part of a seven lecture series made available to the campus
at the Martini Teleconference Center. The event was sponsored by
Campus Activities and Student Leadership. The next lecture, to be
videocast on March 29 at 7:45 p.m. will feature Stephen Covey, author
of the book The Seven Principles of Highly Effective People.
