2008 Guidelines

  1. The program is open to full-time employees of William Paterson University who are members of a collective bargaining unit. The program is not open to non teaching professional staff, William Paterson faculty, or administrators;

  2. Applicants must be enrolled and fully matriculated in a first degree program at William Paterson University, leading to a baccalaureate degree;

  3. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0;

  4. Applicants must submit an annual PES/ Performance Evaluation System Form with a minimal rating of 2 or 3   or if not available, a letter of support from their supervisor  and one additional letter of recommendation;

  5. Applicants must submit a short personal Statement of Goals with the application;

  6. Awards are given once per academic year in the spring semester;

  7. Maximum awards per person/per year is $250 with a maximum eligibility of no more than four (4) annual awards.

Instructions for Application Submission

  1. Fill out and submit the online Application Form;

  2. Prepare the following supporting materials:

    • Copy of current transcript;
    • Copy of  2006-07  PES Form or letter of support from supervisior and one additional letter of recommendation;
    • Confirmation of spring 2008 registration;
    • Statement of Goals;
    • Any additional documents to support your application.

  3. Submit supporting materials to:
