Verification Procedures Simply put, Verification means WPUNJ will
compare your family's income documents (federal tax returns, rental value and debt, etc) and
our Verification Form against what was reported on your financial
aid application (FAFSA). Any delay in submitting your documentation will greatly slow down your financial aid awarding. It is recommended that you submit your documentation as soon as possible. Independent Students - Verification Form and Document Request (only if you are over 24 years of age, married, orphan and/or a graduate student)
Addtional Information Failure to respond to requests for verification or other additional information requests will jeopardize your current and future receipt of financial assistance. Once the Financial Aid Office has received all documentation and processed the file, your financial aid awarding will commence. Federal Income Tax Reporting
