Thank you for choosing WP to continue your educational journey!  Your journey as a WP Pioneer begins with Transfer Orientation, and we are excited to meet you!  We have a fun and informative day planned for you and your family to get to know our beautiful campus, and learn about helpful resources and important academic information to help you succeed. You will...

  • Meet your Orientation Leaders who will help you connect with other students and guide you throughout your Orientation experience.  You'll learn about campus life and how to get involved from a student perspective!
  • Meet your Academic Success Team, which includes your Associate Dean and Academic Advisors.  They provide support to help you succeed academically. 
  • Meet staff from a variety of offices at our fun Services Carnival.   
  • Have lots of opportunities to ask questions to help you prepare to become a Pioneer for the Spring 2024 semester.

Mid-Year 2024 Orientation Resources

In case you missed the Orientation program on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, or would like to review some of the information that was discussed, here are all the presentations from that day.

    Note: WP Online Students are not required to attend in-person orientations. Information will be provided by your academic program.

    Your Orientation journey continues with the following requirements and activities to help you prepare for the fall semester, and get connected once you arrive on campus! More info coming soon!

    Requirements: Check your WP email weekly for important info! 

    • Make sure all of your credits have been transferred from your previous institution.  Contact University Admissions if you have any questions. 
    • Complete your required on-line training course before classes begin!  You'll receive an email during the first week of January with the link to Vector Sexual Violence Prevention Course. Complete the first part by 2/22/24. 
    • Make sure your vaccines are updated and upload your required vaccination and health insurance information to the portal in WPConnect.  Contact Counseling, Health and Wellness if you have any questions.

    • Student Enrollment Services

      Student Enrollment Services (SES) is your one-stop shop for any inquiries related to billing and payments, financial aid and financial literacy, and current student records. As a trusted source of information with a goal to assist the university’s growing diverse and talented campus community, SES also offers consultations for students and families seeking help in managing the cost of attending William Paterson University. While they serve as the first administrative resource, they partner with the Offices of Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Registrar on complex issues to provide solutions.
