You are expected
to make arrangements to have your photo taken for an identification
card, to pick up the card after it is processed and to carry it with you
at all times. The card will enable you to use all campus facilities and
services and will identify you as part of the University community. It
will also entitle you to discounts at student-sponsored events and is
required by resident students
for gaining
access to the residence
hall. The
card serves
as your identification if you are on a dining plan; also, you will need
it to borrow books from the library, use the
REC
CENTER swimming pool and benefit from other campus services.
ID photos are
generally taken during new student orientation and registration, the first
three weeks of each semester and upon special request of Hospitality Services.
The processed
University ID card is available immediately after the photograph is taken.
A temporary card can be issued during busy periods upon
request.
LOST CARDS
It is extremely
important that you report your lost card to the Hospitality
Services Office (973) 720-6200 as soon as the loss is discovered
during normal hours. You may also deactivate your card on your own through our site Pioneer Express Lost/Stolen ID Cards. A
William Paterson ID card that has been lost can be replaced for
a $10 fee. Students who have lost more than three cards
will be required to pay a $25 fee to obtain the 4th card.

photo is no longer a reasonable likeness of you*
- Your old
card no longer works because of normal "Wear & Tear"*
*All the decisions are left to our discretion and you
must bring your old ID card with you.
Proof of age
and verification of University status are always required prior to being
photographed for an ID card. Students who provide false information or
misrepresent other persons for the purpose of obtaining a falsified ID
card will be subject to disciplinary action.
The William
Paterson ID card is also your meal card and Pioneer
Express card, if applicable.
