University to Host Collage! 2019, a Scholarship Benefit Concert Featuring Music Faculty and Students, on March 1

William Paterson University’s Music Department will showcase the musical talent of its faculty and students, from jazz to pop to opera, at Collage! 2019, a gala concert event on Friday, March 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on the University’s campus in Wayne.

Admission is $25 for general, $20 for the WP community and senior citizens and $10 for WP students. Collage! 2019 is a benefit concert for the William Paterson University Music Department’s endowed music scholarship fund.

The program features the best of the best of the University’s music program that includes jazz, choral, musical theatre, pop, percussion and instrumental works culminating in a special arrangement of “Bohemian Rhapsody” performed by the entire cast. Other works include selections from: Carmina BuranaThe Pirates of Penzance and Whitman’s War, as well as the percussion ensemble, a classical trio, a saxophone quintet, a flute ensemble, the concert band, a vocal jazz ensemble and the William Paterson Jazz Orchestra.
