The Educational Opportunity Fund Grants (EOF) program was established in 1968 by the New Jersey Legislature. The program financially assists undergraduate students from educationally and economically disadvantaged backgrounds who meet eligibility requirements. Students also receive support services such as tutoring, counseling, and developmental coursework. Applicants must contact the University EOF Director for admissions into the EOF program. EOF grants are renewable annually based upon continued eligibility. Graduate students may also be eligible if they were EOF participants as undergraduates. Additional information may be obtained at www.hesaa.org. The application deadline is April 1st. Grants range from $1,150 to $1,400 a year.
