Foster and Adoptive Family Services (FAFS), in partnership with the Department of Children and Families (DCF), provides educational assistance through the New Jersey Foster Care (NJFC) Scholars Program. The NJFC Scholars Program provides funding for eligible youth who have experienced Child Protection & Permanency (CP&P) out-of-home placement, CP&P independent living arrangements or transitional living program and are seeking a post-secondary degree at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or a career/technical school.
