William Paterson Junior Wins First Place in Speed-Selling Competition in Russ Berrie Institute for Professional Sales 13th Annual National Sales Challenge 2019

Matthew Cohen, a junior at William Paterson University, won first place in the speed-selling competition in the Russ Berrie Institute for Professional Sales 13th Annual National Sales Challenge held on campus.

Cohen and Claudia Moskal, a senior, both majoring in professional sales in the University’s Cotsakos College of Business, comprised the William Paterson team competing against the best sales students from 36 other schools across the nation and abroad.

Cohen also took fourth place among the top ten sales challenge champions, and Moskal ranked tenth in the speed selling competition. Their team ranked fifth among the top ten sales team champions. The event is judged by business executives from around the country who also serve as sponsors.

William Paterson’s Russ Berrie Institute for Professional Sales is a leader in educating students for a career in professional sales. The University was the first institution in the nation to offer a bachelor of science degree in professional sales and the first in the nation to offer the master of science degree in sales leadership.
