Here/Now, an annual exhibition featuring William Paterson University student artwork, will be on view at the William Paterson University Galleries from April 10 through May 5, 2023. An awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 18 from 12:30 to 1 p.m., followed by an opening reception from 1 to 2 p.m., in the Court Gallery in the Ben Shahn Center for the Visual Arts on campus.
Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The exhibition, on view in the Court Gallery, showcases a variety of media including drawing, illustration, painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, animation, and graphic design. The exhibition was juried by William Paterson University art faculty members James Blasi, Julie Nagle, Steve Rittler, and Robin Schwartz.

Here/Now is one of three exhibitions on view concurrently in the William Paterson University Galleries on view through May 5, 2023. Myles Dunigan: Sacrifice Zones, on view in the East Gallery, features mixed media artworks, prints, and installations by the Grand Prize recipient of the 2020 Ink, Press, Repeat exhibition.
El Cartel/The Poster: Puerto Rican Graphics will be on view in South Gallery. Curated by Alejandro Anreus, WP professor of art history and Latin American/Latinx studies, this exhibition showcases printed posters created by leading Puerto Rican and Nuyorican printmakers drawn from an impressive collection formed and recently donated to the William Paterson University Galleries by artist Gloria Rodríguez Calero.
