INFORMATION FOR
This program focuses on developing advanced practitioners in the fields of bilingual education and English for speakers of other languages. As part of the full master’s degree program in education, the concentration stresses principles of inquiry, theory, professional applications, and research. Students who are New Jersey certified teachers may also pursue, with additional requirements, a certification in either bilingual/bicultural education and /or ESL. This program is fully online with synchronous meetings.

These tests are required by the State of New Jersey. They are the official tool of the American Council of Teachers of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) and are administered by Language Testing International. For more information and current prices visit www.languagetesting.com
Exception: Candidates for certification who have passed the Praxis Core tests will be exempt from taking the written English language proficiency test (WPT) requirement.
