Chi Alpha Epsilon Honor Society

The Educational Opportunity Fund Program (EOF) of William Paterson University is a charter member of the Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society. Since 1995, Chi Alpha Epsilon serves as the national honor society for high achieving students in specialized programs. Among the sixty-eight chapters of Chi Alpha Epsilon throughout the United States, eight chapters are at colleges and universities in the state of New Jersey.  EOF students who maintain a 3.0 grade point average for two or more consecutive semesters are eligible for induction.

IMAGES

Images is a network of William Paterson University women established to nurture supportive bonds, explore cultural similarities and differences, and empower and create meaningful programs centered around women's interests.  Images also engages members in insightful discussion pertaining to acclimation, self-esteem, leadership, personal empowerment, and social issues.

Empowerment Conference

The EOF program conducts a student conference every spring consisting of a student success theme, a keynote speaker and various complementary workshops.  The conferences are usually day long events hosted on a Saturday in April.

Annual Awards Banquet and Recognition of Student Success

Each year the EOF Program recognizes and awards students who have outstanding academic achievement throughout the year(s).  Sophomore and Junior participate in special luncheon where they recognized for their outstanding achievement and many for their improvement. Graduating seniors and their families are invited to the Senior Recognition Dinner. On this special occasion, we come together to recognize and celebrate the concerted efforts, academic achievements, outstanding leadership and dedication to service the University community which EOF seniors have demonstrated through their tenure at William Paterson.
