The English proficiency admissions requirement may be waived if you meet one of the criteria listed below: You are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green card holder) You are a citizen of one of the countries listed below Undergraduate First-Year Students (Freshmen) Students who graduated/will graduate from a high school in the U.S., U.S. territory or any of the countries listed below Students who attend(ed) an international school that follows the educational system of any country listed below (International Baccalaureate, GCE A-Levels, iGCSE, etc.) Please note: Students who enroll in an English language curriculum high school mid-stream (from a local non-English speaking curriculum to an IB program, for example) must be enrolled in non-ESL English courses consistent with their peers and should have a grade of “B” or better in English courses Undergraduate Advanced Standing Students (Transfer, Second Degree) Students who graduated form a high school in the U.S., U.S. territory or any of the countries listed below Students who have satisfactorily completed at least 24 credit hours (not including ESL classes) at an accredited college or university in the U.S., U.S. territory or one of the countries listed below Students who have satisfactorily completed the equivalent of English Composition I and English Composition II with a grade of “C” or better at an accredited college or university in the U.S. or U.S. territory Please note that proof of English as the medium of instruction (MOI) is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. MOI letters must indicate that instruction occurred within the previous five (5) years to be eligible for consideration.
