INFORMATION FOR
Honor societies
The three majors housed in our department are each associated with national honor societies which recognize students who have performed well academically.
If you are eligible to join the BSW honor society (Phi Alpha), the criminal justice honors society (Alpha Phi Sigma) or the sociology honors society (Alpha Kappa Delta), we will notify you by email in the first half of the spring semester. You can check eligibility requirements by clicking on the links for each society.
Induction into the honor societies occurs at events in the spring semester in the ballrooms in the student center.
