BA Sociology

The Sociology major provides students with a comprehensive understanding of society. Our curriculum is designed to foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and life-long curiosity about the social world.

Sociology equips students with the tools to actively engage with and contribute to the world around them. We believe that sociology is not just a study of society, but a catalyst for positive change. By examining social structures, power dynamics, and cultural nuances, our students learn how to identify and confront inequalities at various levels.

Sociology majors possess a versatile skill set that prepares them for a range of professions. Sociology majors often find success in roles that require critical thinking, communication skills, empathy, and an understanding of social structures and dynamics.
