Where can I find course offerings for next semester?

What if the course I seek is closed?
  • You can sign up for the waiting list within the registration system.  Students on the waiting list will be notified if a student drops the course.
Can I take a course at another college for credit toward my degree at William Paterson?
  • Only if you have fewer than 90 credits total and only with prior authorization, using this form.  WPU accepts a maximum of 60 credits from two-year institutions (community colleges).  See here to look up how specific courses from NJ community colleges transfer in.

How many classes can I take in any one semester?

  • Nineteen credits is the standard limit.  Most full-time students take five three-credit classes.
Since I will graduate in the summer, can I "walk" for graduation in May?
  • Students who plan to complete all degree requirements in the summer can apply on WPConnect to participate in the May graduation ceremony. Eligible students will receive an email with more information about this prior to the registration period.

I lost my PIN for registration - where can I find it?

  • Your PIN is available to you in the system after you register.
