If you’re a New Jersey high school student in the Class of 2025 or 2026, William Paterson University can help you get a jump start on college and save money! You may be eligible to enroll in an affordable class at WP for college credit this summer. Earning college credits while you are still in high school can help you get ahead in your college career and save money down the line. Plus, you will benefit from our discounted high school student tuition rate of $199 per credit for New Jersey residents. College level classes will be taught by our outstanding faculty. Credits earned will appear on an official William Paterson University transcript and will count toward a William Paterson degree or can be transferred to most colleges. All Jump Start Summer classes start after July 1st! Eligibility Requirements: Students in the high school graduating classes of 2025 and 2026. Rising New Jersey high school juniors with a GPA of 3.25 or higher or rising high school seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Effective Fall 2023, high school dual enrollment students may be eligible for a one-time scholarship of $1000 dollars if they: take 6 or more credits as a WP high school dual enrollment student; achieve a grade of C or higher in their WP dual enrollment courses; graduate high school; and apply and enroll at WP as a freshman. Be sure to select the courses you plan to enroll in on the application. Send a high school transcript and a letter from a school counselor to admission@wpunj.edu A parent or guardian must submit a consent form before the student can be registered.
